If these conditions are acceptable to the local Government, the Air Officer Commanding, Royal Air Force, Far East will be authorised to effect payment on account of a sum of $100,000. Any further payment falling due within the maximum of $150,000 referred to above would be made on completion of the work to the satisfaction of the Air Council.

The general question of the terms on which land should be made available for Royal Air Force purposes at Hong Kong is, as Mr. Secretary Ormsby Gore is aware, being explored in conference by representatives of the Departments concerned.
